Two Posts in One Weekend? Woah.

Hello. I have some more progresses. (progress'?) Please check em out and give me some feedback!

This is a test of a facial rig I am making. It is still rough and very brief for an animation test but I was just doing this to make sure I was doin' it right. You'll see alot more of this and the final one when I go through 'em.

Here is a progress of my normal walk. I want to go back in and tweak the arms to make them flow better, as well as add in some secondary. Tell me what you think.

And then this is the one im most excited about. I don't know if I'm excited cause its good or because its waaaay better than that old one. Just the legs so far so tell me what u think before I go too far.

Rebirth!

Hey there everyone. I haven't used this since mid-summer, but now I am trying to get a few demo rell pieces together in a hurry. So I decided to use this place to get feedback on my pieces so that way they can be as best as possible.

This first one is a pitch I am redoing, from my Advanced Maya class, and it is fresh out of stepped mode. I'm looking for some overall comments on it to make it better before I go in a nd really start refining it. ANYTHING would be appreciated, unless ur just calling it poop. I don't like that,

ENJOY!

Loooooooooooong time comin'.

SO! It's been a long long long time since I posed on this newborn blog. I was working on a few projects in the month of June and I wasn't going to show them until they were finished. But a few things got in the way, like work and apathy, and they didn't get finished. One im going to wait to show til it's finished, an 11-second animation, but one I will show the concept of a piece I am in the middle of(actually I'll show that later with a progress shot). Also I started to animate a Ginga, Capoeira "stance", loop so I can practice a few movements from this one. I include major blocking and a step past that. So if you have any pointers, lemme know!

Enjoy!!

Practicing.

Hey there everyone. So last night I decided to start a little practice with lipsync'ing and maybe some character animation once I get a chunk of it done. Here is what I did last not. Its about 90% done so far and I would like some critiques to improve my work. This is from a scene in the cinematic gold that is "The Room". One has the controllers so Animators can see what im working with, and one is without the distraction.

Works from the School Year

Here are a couple of works from the school year that I want to continue into the summer.

Mungo: This is a preview of what my new short "Mungo". This is the half I completed for a grade in Computer Animation Studio. I am going to go back and polish it a little bit, maybe increase render quality, and then of course finish the second half. Enjoy and lemme know what you think!

Home is Where the Haunt is: This is a story reel I produced in my class Story Development and Pre-Production. I want to do this short over the summer at some point, or at least start it. I will be posting a step by step of my production on it so look forward to that! Enjoy and let me know what you think!

Welcome all to the blog.

Hello everybody,

This is where I will be posting my random projects over the summer, and maybe into next term time providing. I want this to be a forum where I can post my work and get feedback from many different people. I want any animators who see my work to give some comments and critiques about what you thinks works and what you think could use help. If you see something specific you think would work better please tell me. And anyone else who is just an on-looker please tell me what you think and feel free to give general tips as to what can make my work more appealing. I look forward to having you all view my work, and help me on my path of growth!
